- Feroz Shah Kotla Fort – This 650+ year’s old monument was designed by Malik Ghazi and Abdul Hakk and built in the 14th century of Tughlaq Kingship, by Feroz Shah Tughlaq. This monument is known as the Haunt of Djinn. Every Thursday, locals can be seen, lightning aromatic incense sticks, candles, offering milk, and sticking their wish written on a piece of paper at some selected dark spots, to please the Djinns, in a hope for their wish to be come true.
- Agrasen ki Baoli – one of the most attracting tourist places in Delhi, has its own spooky tales. This Baoli is a step well with 108 steps, which was built in three levels by Raja Agrasen, in the 14th century. As you go deeper into this step by step, you may feel some chasing entities and black mystical water, is said to come upon, which is supposedly hypnotic and force people to jump into it and commit suicide. In past few years, this place has been infamous for taking a lot of lives.
- Delhi Cantt. – One of the most hustle bustle areas of Delhi is believed to be possessed with some supernatural power. A wandering soul of a lady dressed in white saree, asks for a ride, and if denied so one can get spine-chilling moment encouraged by darkness because she is believed to chase people with the matching speed of the vehicle and disappears mysteriously. Folks who have been in this area, claims her presence, and according to them, she died in a road accident while requesting people for lifts.
- Lothian Cemetery – More than 200 years old this burial ground is shaded with dense trees which are enough to straighten your hairs in moon night. This is one of the oldest cemetery of Christian communities of Delhi. In 1808 British People acquired it and dug out all the graves and use it for lay their people to rest in it until 1867. History tells the story that is General Nicholas shot himself in his head after getting rejected by his Indian lover and got buried in this cemetery. He roams around this burial ground carrying his head in his hand and screaming for his lover and haunts the area.
- Sanjay Van – Spreaded in an area of 783 acres which behaves like lungs for the heart of India (Delhi). This ultimately green forest which is also a shelter for numbers of rare birds located near Vasant Kunj in Delhi. People who visited this dense forest claims, an old lady wrapped in white saree mysteriously plays hide and seek here and listening of shrillinging echo of childrens. People believes there is a good soul of a famous Sufi saint from 14th century named, Hazrat Sheikh Shahabuddin Ashiqallah who’s makabra is in the backyard of this forest.
- Khooni Darwaza – Named Lal Darwaza when it was built by Sher Shah Suri in 1540. This monument acquired it’s current name (Khooni Darwaza) when, three princess of Mughal Kingship – Bahadur Shah Zafar’s grandson Mirza Abu Bakht and son’s named Mirza Mughal and Mirza Khizr Sultan were publically executed by a British Soldier named William Hudson on 22 Sept, 1857. People claims that the roaming souls of the prince still roams here and the tales about this Haunted Place in Delhi is that the spirits of this monument only targets the foreign tourists.
- House No. W3 (G.K) – One of the Posh locality in Delhi never earns the title of being Haunted if, an elderly couple were not murdered brutally. Yadu Kailash Kaul and his wife Madhu Kaul used to live in House no. W-3 of Greater Kailash, their “Yoga Guru” murdered them and buried their bodies in underground water tanks of the house. This haunted place in Delhi remained untouched and abandoned for more than 27 years and got a renovation recently. People claims that they hear the loud screaming and laughter sometimes and in night the surrounding air of this house gives strange feeling and the presence of supernatural powers.
- The Karkardooma Court – May be in this busy life people usually don’t speak about the event which was captured by CCTV on November 1, 2012. But whenever they recall the video or incident which took place that night and became the sensation in the News and among the practitioners of this court complex, feels shuddered. Innumerable people visit this complex in day but when the lights switched into darkness, a spirit rules this courtyard. - Chor Minar – Located in one of the posh areas in Delhi named Hauz Khas, this precious monument was built under the government of Alauddin khilji in 13th century. The architecture of this monument is built with the rubble masonry and the wall of this minaret is included with 255 holes. Local legends said that this minaret was used to served as a displaying podium of chopped heads of thieves, prisoners and the foe’s of Alauddin Khilji. It’s, therefore, to maintain the Dhanf among the folks who are willing to harm the king in any form. People rumors that this place is haunted by the spirits of those Khilji defaulters who are executed by him. This place can be seen full with locals and children’s playing without any fear may be they are unaware with bloody story behind it.
- Dwarka sec – 9 Metro – According to the locals and some call center working professionals this place is believed to be haunted. There is a huge peepal tree which comes almost in the middle of the road and gives the feeling of being haunted in the nights. Stories tells that a girl dies here in few years ago and another is returning working professionals from gurgaon to this area faced a lady following them in their way and disappears suddenly or being slapped sometimes.
